I have been a long time CADtools user, but am finally fed up with what I think are pricey upgrades, given that I use only a fraction of it's capability. I do not, nor will ever, need any of the myriad other functions available in this program. It adds scaling and dimensioning tools to Illustrator, in addition to many other. CADtools 10, the latest version, is compatible with Adobe Illustrator CC 2017, CC 2015.3, CC 2015, CC 2014, CC and CS6. called CADtools that has been around for 15 years. I currently use HotDoor CADtools 3rd party plugin for dimensioning in Adobe Illustrator.Īll I ever really use is the simple 'Height / Length' dimensions to lay down simple dimension lines for logos and objects. There is a plug-n available from Hot Door, Inc.
